I walked along the shore with no destination, just the rhythm of the waves and the soft pull of the tide at my ankles. The sand was cool, the breeze carried the scent of salt and something sweet I couldn’t name.

Then the sky began to change—slowly at first, like it was thinking.
Pale blue gave way to rose, then orange, then something so golden it felt holy. The sun dipped low, casting a shimmer across the water, as if the ocean were holding a mirror to the sky.
