Mako Shark is the fastest shark in the world thanks to its pointed torpedo-shaped body. They can reach speed burst up to 60 miles per hour. Makos are "oblique ram ventilators," which means water must pass through their gills to create oxygen for them to breathe. If they stop swimming, they will die.

Also, mako sharks can see in the dark like cats. Their eyes have light detected cells, like cats allowing them to see in the dark. They are one of the few Shark species that do not rely on electrorecption to navigate or sense prey. Instead, they use their smell, hearing, and vision.
