Fungia coral is in the Stony Coral family (they build their own skeleton) and can be found in the Indo-Pacific region. They are solitary and can come in a variety of colors ( green. orange, red, pink, purple, and blue). They have a symbiotic relationship with a photosynthetic algae, known as zooxanthellae, where they receive many of their nutrients. What makes Fungia fascinating and interesting is that they're known to eat the nudibranch seaslug.
